On April 28, 2012 The Theta Sigma Colony had the honor of once again becoming the Theta Sigma Chapter of Sigma Nu Fraternity. In addition, Theta Sigma also welcomed 33 new initiates. These men had the honor of being the first brothers to be initiated into the chapter since 2003. 

Today, Sigma Nu remains committed to its founding principles of Love, Honor and Truth. As a national organization, Sigma Nu has stood in firm opposition to hazing since its founding in 1869 at the Virginia Military Institute. The Theta Sigma Chapter of Sigma Nu parallels these principles and maintians a strong anti-hazing position.
